Maintenance
The HOA is responsible for specific aspects of the association’s maintenance. These primarily consist of the building exteriors and the common area. The HOA is not responsible for interior maintenance except when damage is caused by a failure of the building’s exterior such as water damage due to a roof leak.
If you have a maintenance concern, the best way to notify the HOA is to take a picture of it and email it to the Board with a description of the issue, your street, unit (i.e. Unit A) and contact info. You may also leave a message at the message center by phone and a volunteer will return your call when they can.
Here is a quick table to let you know what the HOA is responsible for and what the individual homeowner is responsible for.
